Have you ever felt tired and bored in your life? Or are you feel insecure because you face that your friends have already got a job, married, continue to study overseas, and so on. It’s fair, sometimes we encountered tired, bored, and drained because we were stuck in the same place. We are only human, not an angel exceptionally God. People want to be perfect and already done in the right times.
“What the meaning we should be done in the right time based on people standard?”
Let me explain it. We should be done at the right time based on people’s standards means we must follow our society. One example is, we must graduate in 3,5 years. Generally, people thought if we graduated in 3,5 years, we were smart. Whereas people will call us lazy when we graduate after nine semester (henceforth, 4,5 years). They solely judge based on when we met. Nevertheless, they don’t know our struggle to get a bachelor’s.
One month ago, I met someone, and she asked me like
“How could you not pass in 4 years? You’re social science.” She said.
I was shocked and thought, “how dare you are to think like that? You don’t even know my struggle, and you solely said, ‘you’re social science. You should pass at the right time,’ I’m not too fond of social standards that thought if social science is easy rather than science.” For the most part, people thought if language were easy. In contrast, language was complicated.
Now, I’m already getting through this. I already did thesis defense even though I must revise my thesis. Furthermore, real-life will be coming, yet I realize that getting older, we always overthink everything, such as work, study, or married (hmm, but for married, I don’t have any idea).
Sometimes, overthink killing myself. One of my mates said like this
Mostly, my relative asked to me
“ Do you have a boyfriend?”
I was already thinking about everything. Until I felt overwhelmed because of my thought which was dancing in my head. Next, realize I don’t want to have a boyfriend because it will increase my burden when I have a partner or crush to someone. Having a partner will be wasted your time. I have a lot of friends and myself that support me in every up and down.
And now, I believe with this sentence:
From my overthink thought, I realized behind every delay, it will come goodness. Thus, don’t too overthinking because overthinking will destroy you slowly. Everything will arrive at the right time. I believe that, and it happened to me, so trust in your progress.
